• If you want to use an existing stack as a model for your new stack, go to that stack. If you want to create a blank stack, it doesn't matter where you start. 

• Choose New Stack from the File menu, name the new stack, and place it in the HyperCard Stacks folder or another folder you name on the "Look for Stacks in" card in the Home stack.  Uncheck Copy Current Background if you want to create a blank stack.

• Use the Paint tools to copy and paste pictures or to draw your own pictures, the Field tool to add or modify fields, and the Button tool to add or modify
